Nepal

I have really wanted to visit Nepal for quite sometime and have heard its quite an amazing place.  Breathtaking views, beautiful people and not to mention going to the foot of Everest are all some of the reasons to go here.  I also feel that compared to most places in the world untouched by tourism, that this place may be a little less jaded than some of Nepal’s South East Asia counterparts.

Bhutan

A place that is humble and beautiful.  The land of archery, Buddhism and trekking!!  A country closed off from much of the world until the 1960’s when tv’s where first introduced as well.  This is a place I absolutely must visit.  The Tigers Nest is high on  my list of places to experience!

The third/fourth place or places for me to go, is either to Tibet or Burma or both…

Tibet

Both have very fragile and risky political situations, but both have very resilient people and amazing history that is worth trying hard to go to and learn as much as possible about these people and their cultures and current geopolitical situation.

Burma

I want to experience these places for their history, people, current politics and view of the rest of the world.  The last thing I want to do is drink in a hostel night after night in any of these places.  I want to educate myself about these people and places as much as possible while I am lucky enough to still have this opportunity…My goal is to make it happen this year and share what I can with everyone, stay tuned!!
